Our Projects
A lot of our hard work makes its way onto TV screens up and down the country. Including children’s television on CBBC and CBeebies, dramas such as Home Fires, sitcoms like Rovers, and even a few national choir competitions, each project is created to suit the individual needs of the client, and is finished to a high standard for filming and broadcast.
Even so, not all of our work is for television. We have created a number of art and museum installations, marketing stands, and even interactive games like The Crystal Maze!
You’ll even find Take 1 behind the scenes: We have made custom puppeteer trolleys, storage solutions for props and sets, and can discreetly hide things like stage weights and power lines within our scenery.
Fancy a little Take 1 magic of your own? We also create bespoke furniture, non-commercial structures, and personal immersive spaces.
Whatever it is you need, with our unique team of carpenters, metal workers, painters and more, we can bring your vision to life.

In the summer of 2017 we were part of a larger team who worked on the renovation of Manchester University’s Students’ Union. Spring 2016 BBC Designer: David Butterworth Art Director: Pawlo Wintoniuk It was a refreshing change to be able to make some really dirty industrial sets both for location and studio.
